My story

For nearly twenty years, Amelia Island was our family's “one day” dream. We'd visit, fall a little more in love with the island, and imagine what life might look like if we could call it home.

In 2020, my husband Jim and I finally bought our place on Amelia Island as a second home. Less than a year later, we'd sold our family home in Atlanta and moved here full-time.

It was quite a downsize. But I'm 500 steps from the beach, and I can honestly say I don't miss those extra empty rooms.

I spent the next two years doing something I hadn't done in decades: slowing down. I walked the beaches, collected shark teeth, and simply enjoyed the lifestyle we'd dreamed about for so long.

When I decided to return to work in 2023, I considered going back into commercial real estate. It was familiar territory, and I had spent years building a career in it.

But I realized I wanted something different.

I wanted to share what I loved about living here.

And that's what brought me to residential real estate on Amelia Island.

Decades of Experience Behind Every Real Estate Decision

My professional background isn't the traditional path into residential real estate.

Before moving to Amelia Island, I spent 18 years in hotel management, overseeing operations across 33 hotels in 16 states. That experience taught me the importance of exceptional service, attention to detail, and understanding what makes a property truly valuable.

I later spent more than a decade in commercial real estate in Atlanta, specializing in hotels, mixed-use developments, and office and institutional properties. I also worked with residential development projects through our investor group and oversaw more than 1.5 million square feet of commercial property.

I've been licensed in real estate since 2009, and those years of experience continue to shape how I represent my clients today.

I understand properties from multiple perspectives: as investments, as businesses, and most importantly, as places where people build their lives.
